How AI background replacement works
The editor uses your original photo and your selected background instruction to generate a new image. In Upload mode, the original photo is the subject reference and the second image supplies the setting. The AI aims to blend the edges, perspective, and shadows into a coherent scene.

What to check before downloading
AI generates a new image, so fine details, faces, logos, text, and colors may change. Hair, glass, translucent objects, and complex overlapping subjects can be challenging. A reference background guides the result and may not be reproduced exactly. For a transparent cutout instead of a replacement scene, use the AI Background Remover.
Use images you have permission to edit
Upload photos and background references you own or are allowed to use. Images are sent to the service for processing. Review the privacy policy for information about how your data is handled.

How can I change the background of a picture?
Upload your original photo, choose Color, Custom, or Upload, and click Change background. After generation, review the result and download it.
Can I make the background white or use a hex color?
Yes. In Color mode, choose white or enter a valid three- or six-digit hex color. AI-generated colors can vary, so inspect the result if you need an exact brand match.
Can I use my own image as the background?
Yes. Choose Upload and add one background reference. Your original photo supplies the subject, while the second image guides the new setting.
What should I write in Custom mode?
Describe the setting, surface, light, and atmosphere you want. For example: a warm-white studio with a matte surface and soft daylight. You can also start with a suggested prompt.
Will the original subject stay exactly the same?
The instructions aim to preserve the subject, but AI can alter fine details. Check faces, product shape, logos, hair, and edges before using the generated image.
Which image formats and sizes are supported?
Upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images. Each file can be up to 16 MB. Upload mode accepts one original image and one background image.
Do I need an account or credits?
Sign-in is required to generate. This tool uses 3 credits per generation, as shown above the button. Available credits and purchase options are shown in your account.
Can I remove the background to make it transparent?
